PACT-Ottawa launches feedback survey for TruckSTOP campaign

OTTAWA, Ont. -- PACT-Ottawa is launching a feedback survey to determine the effectiveness of its TruckSTOP campaign, an awareness initiative that provides truck drivers and frequent travellers with information to help identify suspected cases of human trafficking and alert law enforcement.

The campaign has been active in Ontario since April, and materials have been distributed via truck stops and truck shows. PACT-Ottawa officials say they hope to distribute TruckSTOP materials across the country in the near future.

“Survey results will be invaluable in evaluating the success of the campaign and determining any required modifications to campaign materials,” officials said in a release.

PACT-Ottawa is asking truck drivers, truck stop employees, and other individuals involved in the transportation industry to complete the survey.

The survey will be open from now until Oct. 31. Individuals who complete the survey will be entered into a draw for gift cards from Chapters, iTunes, and Tim Hortons.
